Not the same camera

Even though I bought the base VueZone unit with the two motion detection cameras, this add-on is not the same camera. The quality of the picture is not as good as the base unit cameras and there is significant barrel distortion with these in comparison to the base units. You can tell the difference by looking at the lens - the base unit (and higher quality) lens has a chrome ring around it - the add on unit has a black ring. It appears that when they were bought out by Netgear, that lower quality parts were substituted.

Works great while I travel

I VueZone to check in on my apartment as I travel. These work great. The apartment sent a repairman while I was gone, and the motion sensors picked up his movement...it left me at ease knowing that I could check to make sure my apartment was left back in good shape.

Love these!

These cameras are perfect for our apartment. We bought the kit that came with 2 motion sensing cameras and loved it so much we decided to add 3 more cameras for the rest of the apt. They're super easy to setup, motion detection is pretty accurate and the frame rate isn't horrible. For a totally wireless system I can't really complain. Though they are a bit pricey, the easy of just hitting a button to add new cameras is totally worth it. The video resolution & low light features could be better, but again for a wireless system it's not terrible.
