The alarm is as stated. It beeps to confirm that it is armed or disarmed. This feature could be ideal for someone with impaired vision as the beep to arm or disarm are different. The alarm itself is very loud. So far so good. I recommend this product.

Very disappointing

Don't believe the packaging when it says the alarm is loud - it's NOT!Not even my two dogs stirred in the next room when this very poor excuse for an alert sounded.Yes, it's easy to install and set the remote to the right channel and it's inexpensive - but what's the point when it won't alert you to an intruder?
