good at close ....no use at distance.. bad software....

Bought it at Costco(Canada).. good price, for wireless. Good quality picture.. at close distance,, good for monitoring Your entrance doors... night time movement is a blurr. Programmed recording ? Though it has AM/PM could not get it record at AM, which was most important for me , as 2 wks prior some "good samaritans" stole my GMC truck's on-board computer(replacement 6.800$ Can) so I thought this my be useful. Then it started "going off" on movement alarm by itself... so , for me it proved useless.. Folks at Uniden didn't respond to my e-mails, and only way to communicate was phone calls... Then, as my pc(notebook & laptop were connected to Internet, I suddenly discovered that at the virus scan my IObit 360 found Trojan, and Trojan Downloader in Uniden Surveilance files...... 3 pc's at the same time..... removed the Uniden Security and the Trojans were gone.. Again, notified the Uniden staff by e-mail... no response. Replaced this unit by a new one at Costco.. after couple hours of work it crashed my notebook... Returning this too.
