Signal was not strong enough to reach base unit from 25 ft away.I have Dakota Murs unit that is roughly a year year old that has become very unreliable so I was hoping this would work but instead has made me realize that Dakota is JUNK

i purchased this product from Dakota Alert. worked great for the first few months than it slowly started to lose the range it had. i replaced the battery but didnt get the range back. i had this for a little over a year before i called Dakota Alert and they said that my warranty was up and there was nothing they could do for me. i am only getting about 80ft right now. it never did get the 1/2 mile that it claimed. the customer service was horrible and this product is horrible. DO NOT BUY!!!!!!
