Product Description
The Night Guard Home Surveillance System (NG-100) helps to protect you, your family, and your home. This state-of-the-art, outdoor motion-sensitive system can be used in residential or commercial applications. 3 infrared sensors allow the camera & light to automatically track movement at up to 30' in a 200 degree radius covering the same area as three fixed lights/cameras. The sensor light features a motion-activated 150 watt halogen light and built-in camera which operates both day and night. The built-in camera displays still-images and video onto your PC via a wireless 2.4GHz connection, using the supplied USB receiver. This enables the user to monitor, record and play back video or still image footage on any Windows PC and without any service plans or fees. The Night Guard Home Surveillance System includes one sensor light & camera assembly (NG-SL-1), one wireless USB receiver (NG-USB-R1) and Software Installation Disc, along with mounting and installation hardware.

Not too bad

Works pretty good so far.. You need to leave your PC on at all times to use as security if you want to capture Video or pictures and record them. If you want to use the sound alarm function it is nice, it will alert you at your computer every time there is movement, but if you have in a high traffic area or near a street with steady traffic it will wake you up all night! (You can turn it off too)The motion alarm is very sensitive and will pick up movement 70' away the light swivels to follow movement. I need to purchase a repeater USB cable extension because light will not communicate wireless with my PC on other side of house. I am going to place the transponder white plug in communicator thingy (for lack of a better term) closer to the light. You can not turn light off & on from your PC unfortunately. I paid under $75 on one day sale.. but you may not see that price again. I do not know how long halogen bulb will last in winter freezing temperatures? Time will tell. My Halogen work lights are known for blowing bulbs in cold temps.. but they are 300 watts this light is 150 watts.This unit seems pretty well designed and built. I would not pay over $75 however... because I do not know how long swivel motor and electronics will last in the Seattle weather!!

No tech support from auto page inc

If you buy this and it doesn't work right you are screwed, cannot get any tech support and product has been discontinued. I called 5 times over 4 days and have yet to get a return call.

Over priced

The NG-100 Night Guard Home Surveillance System looks good, it is well made, and it is very easy to install.However the distance that they said of 250’ is not correct! I bought 2 and both after 100’ loose their connection.I am please with it, and I do recommend it. But not for the cost that’s listed for. I do think that is over priced.
