5Great Product
By LonelyPoet
This is the second day... and I am loving this camera. I have gone through a gazillion list of cameras and eventually thought I will give this a try. For the prize this is an awesome product. Because of my firewall I had installation issues but the support guy told me how to hard reset the camera and oh yeah after that it was flawless. The only trouble is I was not able to reset the passwords which I believe one need to set it at the beginning of the installation itself. Great picture quality both during daytime and IR. My brother in India was watching my backyard when it was pitch black outside and I set this in my WIFI I have a high speed wireless network at home so I should say if you want this in WIFI better have at least 15Mbs internet connection. I may buy one more for the other side of my house.Update: I have seen some bad reviews about this product regarding security.. what one need to do is to update the firmware with the one that can be downloaded from the esky website. I have tested every feature of this camera and I should say.. this product is as advertised and maybe more which when I find I will update here.

3Excellent value features but firmware and UI is poor
By M. Diaz
This camera offers great features. the compression is key to good quality video in wireless environments where BW is limited. the firmware and the user interface software leaves lots to be desired. many features dont work depending on the browser you use. You will find that some user controls are broken in the firefox UI but work in the IE UI and vice versa. Also their custom SW also has some broken features and it is buggy to the max. the 1st camera i received also had something wrong with the optics but their customer service responded quickly and told me where to return it for exchange. I have not yet figured out how to get the DDNS thing going so i could access the camera outside my home network. i have forwarded ports left and right with no success. I hope that e-sky continues to update their firmware as this camera has the promise of being a top purchase for home security.

5Great product! Thank you!
By dan
The camera has something special, I always have a tender spot in my heart for special things,so I decide to write something about the camera I have used for about 3 months. When I plugged the camera in power and set it up the first day I got it,the tilt&pan mechanism impressed me. I can assign up to 15 custom angles that allow me to shift the view point with a single click. I can speed the tilt&pan up with a single click too,10 speed gear I can choose. It tilt&pan like wind,so fast that it rotates a whole circle within 2 seconds. I did notmeasure the tilt&pan range with tools,it's about 320 degrees horizontal and 160 degrees vertical,I thought.Second thing is the built-in DDNS server,it saved me some $29 to subscribe a dyndns account. It was free before and worked with my Foscam camera but now it just rip me off and forced my old Foscam retired. The third is the IR cut filter. I finally can install a wide-lens camera on my porch and does not worry about the whitewashed pictures, for this one the picture is as vivid as when it stays in the house. The fourth is the manual book. I did not mean it fantastic but it is much better than any others I have experienced,It's neat and helpful. The fifth is the micro sd card slot. I have tested it using a 4GB card and it worked. I thought 4GB is too small for constant recording and I did not want to dip into my purse for an unnecessary 32GB card,so I did not use use it.But I have to say this function rocks.
