This wired video camera works beautifully with the miniature monitor available from Amazon

Working in a lower level home office it drove me nuts not knowing who was at the front door upstairs. Worked right out of the box with the 3.5 Inch Small Monitor found on Amazon. 3.5 Inch Small TFT LCD Adjustable SPY Monitor For Security CCTV Camera and car DVR Haven't been able to rig sound, but am using door intercom for that. Incredible quality picture in unlighted nightime situations. A first-class video and monitr for about $110!

I got this camera to use as a baby monitor.I'm the paranoid type that doesn't want to add to the radio frequencies and EMFs already in our environment, so this camera is perfect because it is hard-wired.It is so super easy to install; all I did was set the camera on top of a floor lamp, aim it at the kid, and run the wires into the next room and plug them into any television that has the little round yellow/red/white RCA inputs.It has a fairly narrow view lens, meaning that if you put it too close to the crib, you won't be able to see the corners of the crib. It would probably see things better from five or ten feet away rather than the three foot distance that I have it at.Overall, I was very impressed with how "plug-and-play" this is, and since it also has audio with a very sensitive microphone, it is the perfect baby monitor.
