Product Description
This contact is meant for use with the 2GIG Alarm System and can be installed on doors windows and many other objects that open and close. The sensor transmits signals to the control panel when a magnet mounted near the sensor is moved away from or closer to the sensor. The sensor has an external input that accepts N/C dry contact devices. The sensor is also equipped with cover tamper for additional security.

Not sure how good it is never got it to work

So for some reason Amazon and google brought me to this device when I searched for Z Wave sensors. This product is NOT Z Wave. I'm sure it would work fine if you have the other systems its compatible with I was unsuccessful when trying to pair it with MiCasaVerde.

Exactly as advertised

Added this to my Vivint home security system. Worked perfectly out of the box :-) If using Vivint security, don't bother trying to code the device yourself. Their help-desk is awesome and will have this new device added for you in mere moments. This is the exact same item added by the installers.

I have a newly installed Vivint Home Security System. I bought 3 of these sensors just recently.Called Vivint and had them added these new sensors to my account by giving them the TXID number. Super easy.Great product. Not to mention the price! $26 each! Vivint sells these for $60 each! I will be buying 3 more next week.
